Elon Musk says Tesla will increase the price of FSD driver assistance software by 25% in September

Tesla plans a 25% price hike for its premium Driver assistance systems is marketed in the U.S. as a full self-driving, or FSD, option.

FSD is currently worth $ 12,000 with a subscription of $ 199 per month.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk doesn't immediately determine whether the subscription price will increase as well.

The electric vehicle maker is also releasing a new version 10.69 of its FSD beta software

This allows the driver to test the features of the new driver assistance system on public roads before it is fully debugged.

Today Tesla charges $ 12,000 customers for FSD, or $ 199 per month, depending on the subscription

Musk did not immediately mention the increase in FSDs and Tesla's subscription costs did not respond to requests for further information.
