Google Doodle is celebrating Anna Mani's 104th birthday.

Today is the 104th birthday of India's very famous physicist and meteorologist Anna Mani.

On this special occasion, Google has prepared a very special Doodle for Anna Mani.

Anna Mani was born on 23 August 1918 in Kerala and died on 16 August 2001 in Thiruvananthapuram.

Anna Mani had read all the books of the Malayalam Public Library in the first eight years of his life.

Anna Mani did his B.Sc from Presidency College in 1939.

He graduated in Physics and Chemistry in 1945 and then went to Imperial College London to pursue his graduation in Physics in 1945.

Anna Mani set up a workshop to measure wind speed and solar energy in Bangalore.

After that, she also researched the ozone layer and became a member of the International Ozone Association.

Anna Mani was awarded the INSA K. R. Ramanathan Medal in 1987.
